Day One: Reviving Rain
Breath Prayers are so helpful when days are hard. They are wonderful connectors to keep us aware of being in God’s presence always – on any day. They are wonderfully simple, void of striving and have the potential to open our hearts.
This is the last week of the resurrection. This coming Sunday is Pentecost Sunday, when we celebrate the coming of the Spirit upon the disciples of Jesus.
I invite you to receive the promises of God this week by returning a repetitive breath prayer to Him throughout each day. You can write out the breath prayer on a few sticky notes and place them where you will be to remind yourself. I will include a picture to reflect on as well.
You, O God, sent the reviving rain upon your weary inheritance, showers of blessing to refresh it. Psalm 68:9 (The Passion)
Send Your reviving rain to me O God.
